a) Remittance

b) Credit-Debit Card
You can pay your order using your credit or debit card(visa – mastercard). The transaction takes place on the secure website of Piraeus Bank. “Carpets.gr” does not store, process or maintain a database of your credit-debit cards. The whole process of payment by credit or debit cards is carried out through a secure system on the website of Piraeus Bank.

Products which are ordered and returned to us, are charged the full cost of transport in both directions. Cost of shipment to the place of your residence and return cost to us. Bespoke products that are ordered and not received or returned to us are charged with the price of the products plus the shipping and return costs.

Products can be shipped anywhere within the Greek territory, within the European Union and countries around the world.
«carpets.gr» sends the products ordered with courier companies, transport companies when the products are bulky, as well as with its own means, within Attica – Athens.
All orders for ready products are processed within 1 working day of our confirmation of receipt of your order. In case you have chosen to pay by bank transfer, the processing of the order is carried out the next working day from the day we receive your payment.

Products delivered in Greece
For orders of ready products, delivered within the Greek territory, the shipment-delivery is carried out within seven (7) working days. For custom-made products that are been ordered by you in special sizes (eg. moquette, leather carpets, carpets of desired dimensions, corridors, underlays) a notification for time delivery is showing above the “add to cart” button. You can be informed about the delivery time before the completion of your order in the product and above the add button in the cart.

The execution of your order and the delivery of goods will be made within five (5) business days for ready products for the areas of Attica and within seven (7) working days for the rest of Greece (Caution in inaccessible areas possibly will need to pick up your order from the nearest store courier-transport office in your area), the part of our acknowledgment of your order, except in cases of unavailability of products, non-confirmation of order, and of special-custom order (eg moquette, leather carpets, carpets of desired dimensions, corridors, underlays), for which you will be informed about the delivery time prior to completion of your order.

Products delivered in European Union
For orders of readymade products, delivered outside Greek territory but within the European Union, the shipment-delivery is carried out within fifteen (15) working days. For products that are not ready-made, which are manufactured in the dimensions you want (eg moquette, leather carpets, carpets of desired dimensions, corridors, underlays) you will be informed about the delivery time before the completion of your order.

Products delivered in NON-EU Countries
For orders of readymade products, delivered outside the European Union, the shipment-delivery is carried out within twenty (20) working days. For products that are not ready-made, which are manufactured in the dimensions you want (eg moquette, leather carpets, carpets of desired dimensions, corridors, underlays) you will be informed about the delivery time before the completion of your order. Delivery time for non-EU countries varies, depending on the destination and the volume of the order.

“Carpets.gr” although will make every effort to send the products to you on time in no case does it guarantee the shipment of the products in the above mentioned deadlines on periods of extreme weather events or strikes and in any case of force majeure, which may affect transport and delivery times. Keep in mind that global shipping companies are facing delays due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The ownership of the product is transferred after full payment and the risk passes on delivery.

In case you want to pick up the order yourself, you can place your order electronically and pick up from the company’s warehouse after you have been informed that your order is ready, at the address 24 Pontou str., 17778 Tavros, daily 09:00 to 17:00.

Shipping Cost within Greece
Delivery for orders within Greece with a value of goods over € 70.00 (including VAT) the shipment is free and for orders with a value of goods up to € 70.00 (including VAT) the shipment is € 7.00 (including VAT). Cash on delivery cost is € 2.36 (including VAT) and applies per shipment / order if you have chosen to pay upon delivery of the order. The method of payment by cash on delivery is not offered for shipments outside Greece, for products ordered according to customer requirements in special dimensions or colors (eg moquette, leather carpets, carpets of desired dimensions, corridors, underlays), in cases where the order includes products of large volume, weight or length which are sent with transport companies and not with a courier company, as well as in case you want to receive your order with a transport company of your choice.

Shipping Cost for EU countries
Delivery of orders outside Greece but within the European Union, the shipping cost is affected by the destination and the shipping volume as well as variable charges applied by the transport companies. In these cases, you should add to the shopping cart the product and the quantity you want as well as the country of destination to see the exact shipping cost.

Delivery of orders outside the European Union, the shipping cost is affected by the destination and the shipping volume as well as variable charges applied by the transport companies. In these cases, you should add to the shopping cart the product and the quantity you want as well as the country of destination to see the exact shipping cost. Any duties and charges imposed by local customs in non-EU countries are not included in the final cost displayed in the shopping cart, as they cannot be calculated by us and are borne solely by the final recipient / customer.

You have the right to cancel at any time all or part of your order on finished products without charge if and when the order is not sent to you. If the order has shipped, you will be charged only with the corresponding shipping & return cost. In case the products are already shipped you have to return our products within ten (10) days accompanied with the corresponding sales document, intact, unused and without opening the original packaging. Otherwise, our company cannot accept cancellation of order.

Products that can be ordered according to your requirements, including but not limited to specific dimensions or colors, designs cannot be canceled after confirmation the order and not replaced with other products less equal or greater value.

In this case you should disclose us the problem within four (4) days via e-mail to initiate the recovery process of the problem. In each of these cases, the customer must return the products to us within ten (10) working days accompanied with the corresponding sales document, undamaged, unused and without opening the original packaging. The replacement will become after we receive and check the mistake or defective product. Otherwise, our company cannot accept replacement order.

You have the right to return products purchased and ask for a replacement if the size or color of the carpet you selected does not suit you within ten 4 days. In this case you will be charged with shipping costs and you must return the goods to replace accompanied with the corresponding sales document, undamaged, unused and in their original packaging. The replacement will become after we receive and check the product. Products ordered according to customer requirements to specific dimensions or colors (eg moquette, leather carpets, carpets of desired dimensions, corridors, underlays) are not refundable and not replaced with other products less equal or greater value.

In case of any real deficiencies or lack of properties sold in products the provisions of the Civil Code. To be considered an attribute, you must be certified as such in writing by both parties.

In case you choose to return products you bought from “carpets.gr” with transport companies of your choice and without our prior notice, we cannot provide any guarantee for safe transport and delivery times of the products you return to us.

To avoid your own discomfort, it is advisable to check carefully at the time of delivery of your order, the status of the products and their packaging intact, in order to detect any obvious defects. In case the package is opened or damaged it would be good not to receive the order and notify us as soon as possible.

We can deliver your order in the afternoon as long as you note the hours that serve you in the “comments” field before placing your order.
