a) Payment on delivery

You can pay your order on delivery at an extra charge of €2.36 (incl. VAT 24%) per receipt/invoice. Payment on delivery is not possible for orders out of Greece and for custom-made products (e.g. special dimensions, colours, leather carpets, carpeting etc.)

In accordance with the existing tax provisions, since 01.01.2014, for receipts over €500 and invoices over €500, ONLY payment with the following methods can be accepted:

  • Direct deposit/transfer to the company’s bank account.
  • By credit or debit card.

Payment on delivery cannot be accepted for custom-made products (e.g. special dimensions, colours, leather carpets, carpeting etc.)

b)Bank transfer

You can make your payment via bank account. Prepay your order to one of the following bank accounts at the National Bank of Greece, ALPHA Bank, Piraeus Bank.

This payment method also requires you to send us a copy of the Bank of Receipt of Payment for any ordered products to orders@carpets.gr or via fax on +30 210 2849009. On confirmation of remittance, the order will then be shipped out to you.

All the products on our website include 24% VAT.

For orders returned you will incur shipping charges and return expenses. That is, the cost of shipping out to you and the return delivery to us. Special orders which have been dispatched and not collected or which have been returned will be charged in full including shipping and return expenses.

c)Credit or Debit card payment

You may use your credit or debit card for your online purchases. Your transaction will be processed in a secure site a Piraeus Bank. «carpets.gr» does not store or process and does not keep a database of credit or debit card details. Online payments are effected through a secure site of Piraeus Bank.

Our products can be delivered throughout Greece and the European Union.

 

Your order will be processed and delivered within seven (7) working days for items in stock and deliveries in the area of Attica (Greece) and nine (9) days for the rest of Greece, counting from the day of order confirmation from your end and when payment has been made to our bank account, (PLEASE NOTE, regarding remote areas, you may need to collect your delivery from the nearest courier service or transportation company in your area). For products that are not available, in the case of non confirmation of your order or for custom-made product orders (e.g. Leather carpets with special dimension, carpeting etc.) you will be notified of the time of delivery before completion of your order.

Deliveries of products in stock to the European Union countries will be effected within 15 working days. (PLEASE NOTE, regarding remote areas, you may need to collect your delivery from the nearest courier service or transportation company in your area). «carpets.gr» will make every effort to expedite orders but any dates quoted for delivery of the goods should be considered approximate only and «carpets.gr» is not liable for any delay in delivery of the goods, whatever the reason.

Ownership of the goods will be transferred to the buyer upon fullpayment and the risk passes to the buyer upon delivery to the carrier.

Delivery charges in Greece are free. Should you wish to receive goods in less than 7 working days, you may place your order online and collect your goods from the company’s storeroom at 24 PONTOU Str, Tavros, Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:00.

You reserve the right to cancel the whole or part of the order of items in stock without being charged, at any time before dispatch of the goods. If you have already proceeded with payment to our bank account, you will need to email us the order number as well as the bank account to which you want us to debit your refund andof which you are the primary holder. If your order has been dispatched you will only be charged shipping costs and return expenses.

You reserve the right to return the whole or part of your order that concerns items in stock, without specifying a reason within fourteen (14) days from the day of delivery. In this case you will only be charged return expenses and goods must be returned within fourteen (14) days from withdrawal of your Contract, accompanied by the proof of purchase. The goods must be delivered unused, without defects and in their original packaging otherwise our company will not be able to accept the withdrawal of your order.

When returning goods and depending on the method of payment on one hand and the method of return of the goods on the other, your refund will be made within fourteen days (14) from the day of receipt and after inspecting the goods.

You reserve the right to replace a product without incurring any further expenses, when we have sent the wrong item and in the event that the product is defective. You must notify us within four (4) days via email, so that we can rectify the problem. In all of the above cases, the customer must return the goods within fourteen days (14), accompanied by the respective proof of purchase, unused, without defects and in their original packaging otherwise our company will not be able to accept the replacement of your order.

Custom-made product orders, for instance carpets with special dimensions or colours or patterns, cannot be cancelled after order confirmation and the goods cannot be replaced by other products having equal, lower or higher value.

You reserve the right to return any ready-for-delivery products that you bought and to ask for their replacement if the dimension or colour of the carpet does not suit you. In this case you must return the goods within four (4) days from delivery and at your own expense. You must return the goods along with the respective proof of purchase, unused, without defects and in their original packaging. We will proceed with replacement after receiving and inspecting the goods. There will be no refund of shipping fees incurred in the original order. Custom-made products having special dimensions or colour (e.g. carpeting, leather carpets etc.) cannot be returned or replaced by other products of equal, lower or higher value.

Should you choose to return goods bought on «carpets.gr» using a carrier of your choice and without notifying us in advance, we cannot provide you any guarantee for safe transportation and the date of delivey of the returned items.

Civil law applies to cases of actual defects or discrepancies to the agreed product characteristics/specification. Product specifications will have to be mutually agreed upon/certified in writing.

«carpets.gr» is not responsible for discrepancies in the colours of the products depicted on your monitor.

For your own convenience, upon delivery, it is advisable to inspect the goods and the packaging of your order for visible damages.

«carpets.gr» make every effort to deliver your order within the time limits set out in the terms of use. If the times have been overcome and have not received an update by us please contact us by email or telephone in order to receive instant updates on the progress of your order.

We can deliver your order at Saturday or afternoons suffice to note the hours that suits you in the “comments” before the registration of your order.

The delivery of your order can be made at Saturdays (morning only), for an extra charge, simply select the corresponding field before the registration of your order. In case that courier company doesn’t provide that service in your area you will be notified by phone or by email.

You reserve the right to replace a product without incurring any further expenses, when we have sent the wrong item and in the event that the product is defective.
